CEP - 807 | Proseminar Ed Tech - CAPSTONE.

The final course in the MAET program, and I couldn't think of a better way to wrap it up.  The concept of making a portfolio was not a new one to me, but the way that I looked at this task was.  



In the past I always looked at these portfolio assignments from a web development standpoint and a reason to push my programming or web development skills, and each time I found myself getting burned out in the tech aspect and not focused enough on the content, which quickly turned into a portfolio that was out of date.



At the beginning of this course I made the commitment to focus more on the content, and less on the technology behind it.  While normally I would have used a platform like WordPress to do this, I choose the content management system Wix instead.  I felt that ease of use was just what I needed to ensure that all the hard work and effort I had put in over the past 6 years was represented well... and that it didn't require an unreasonable amount of effort to keep it updated. 



Overall, I am very pleased with my portfolio and my experience with the MSU MAET program.  I am proud to be a Spartan, I am proud to have earned my degree in Educational Technology and overall I am proud of myself for sticking through all the years it took me to get here.
