Backpacking and Hiking

As you might have already gathered, backpacking is an activity that I really enjoy. There is something about dropping all of the stresses of the modern age and reverting back to the basics... especially for me since technology plays such a large part of my existence.

If you have never spent a night in the deep woods to wake up with nothing more to do than just sit in the woods and think, then you must give it a try. If you think that is more than you can handle, live through me and take a look at some of the trips I have taken.

Inventing and Fabricating

There are many things that I take pride in, but the one I enjoy the most is my ability to find unique solutions to any problems. While its great that I am able to find solutions using salvaged materials, it turns me into a bit of a pack rat. I always seem to think that scrap piece of something needs to be saved... in my defense, I do usually end up using it.

Playing Guitar

Over the years I have spent on this rock I have always been involved in music. Being a member of the band during my public school days taught me a lot about team work, sacrifice and dedication. Those skills have transferred far beyond the boundaries of a concert hall and staff paper.

In this area you will see a few things that revolve around music and how it fits in my life.

Paintball

I was very blessed to stumble upon the game of paintball during high school. During the end of my H.S. career, and throughout all of college and a good part of my transition to adulthood, that silly game afforded me free travel and friends from all over the world that I would have otherwise never had met.
