What I've Learned...
Michigan State University
Masters in Educational Technology - 2013
During the years I spent earning my Masters in Educational Technology from Michigan State University, I expanded my skill sets even further. It went well beyond the concepts of implementing technology as I began to consider the pedagogy behind teaching. From that stand point I decided to focus on how to leverage technology to have maximum impact on learning with minimal impact on budget and teaching style. During this time at MSU I was able to really focus on my writing and non verbal communication skills to help deliver my message effectively to a variety of audiences.
Central Michigan University
Bachelors of Science in Business Administration - 2002
My time at Central Michigan University was a wonderful experience that allowed me to really grow my skills as a professional. It was here that I was introduced to my first programming experiences and discovered the power of relational databases. Along with the technology skills I exercised at CMU I put a lot of focus on becoming a more marketable employee with a desire to build quality teams with quality communication.
Glen Oaks Community College
Associates of Science in Business Administration - 1999
Fresh out of high school and an adolescent without a clue. The one thing I did know was that school was important, and at the same time potentially very expensive. Because of this I choose to stay local and earn an associates in business at Glen Oaks Community College. This experience taught me the importance of education and allowed me to mature into the student I would need to be in order to be successful at major universities in the future.
